Wonders of wildlife is a wildlife museum and aquarium that opened in November 2001 in Springfield, Missouri It serves as a home to more than 225 Missouri wildlife species of living animals; fresh and saltwater aquariums. It was John Morris, founder of Bass Pro shops whose intensive lobbying campaign helped the building of the museum.
It was closed in December 2007, for further expansion and is expected to open the Conservation Education Center by the end of December 2011 and the rest of the museum December 2012. |
