If you like the “Up In The Air” movie with George Clooney, then you'd definitely like to know it had one of the filming locations at the Cheshire Inn in Clayton suburb of St. Louis, MO. If you're curious about the specific scene shot here, re-watch the wedding scenes.

This inn is a luxury hotel build in a traditional British style, built in the 1920's. There are several types of rooms available to book and your kids and pets are welcomed as well.

Take a tour of the Valley Trust Building
If you plan to take a trip to St Joseph, MO you need to remember to visit the famous Missouri Valley Trust Building. This is a popular shooting location, and some of the 1973 "Paper Moon" movie had been shot here. 

The building is very old, having been built in 1859 and is now part of a museum. The museum is worth visiting due of its amazing architecture.

Pony Express National Museum is the filming location for the special “Celebrating Autumn” released by HGTV. This museum is a tribute to the legacy Pony Express as an institution, its riders and its mid-19th century era. For instance you can book to see a one-room schoolhouse 

One can visit the museum Monday to Saturday from 9 to 5 and on Sunday from 11 AM to 4 PM. The admission fee is $6 for adults, $4 for seniors, $3 for students (ages 7 to 18) and kids under 6 years old can enter for free.

The Mansion House is one of the filming locations used for the “Up in the Air” movie starring George Clooney.

The Mansion House is an apartment building that rents luxury apartments and offices. There is an amazing view from each window, and from one of them one can even see the famous arch in St. Louis. You may not be able to enter if you don't plan to rent a place here, but the building has a nice architecture that's well worth a visit.

When visiting St Louis, the airport might be one of the first things you notice. The Lambert International Airport is a popular filming location, and more than one blockbuster has been filmed there, including The Silence Of The Lambs.

 

The airport is located about 16 miles from downtown St Louis, and it provides tourists with all the necessary facilities. The airport includes several dining sports and shops for people who want to indulge in a bit of shopping before arriving in the city or have a snack.
